At 73th meeting of Water Conservation Committee which held at 8 June 2016, the proposed frame on interaction and sharing capacities with Parliament Members was presented by Abangah as the national consultant of social capacity building and awareness rising for Groundwater Rebalancing Plan. Minster deputy for water (Mr. Meydani), CEO of WRM Co. (Mr Hajrasoliha), the manager of water conservation office in Energy Ministry (Mr. Meybodi) and some other related managers from water sector were participated at meeting as commission’s members.

According to the agenda, firstly, Mr. Samiee (Abangah CEO) presented the frame of the social capacity building project with focus on the plan for interaction with parliament members both in local and national scales. Afterwards, Mr. Meydani appreciate the approach and expressed that the most important obstacles on achieving Groundwater Rebalancing objectives are intellectual and social issues which should be overcome by national consultant (Abanagh) by providing suitable social investment for plan via awareness raising and dialogue.

In the following, Mr. Hajrasoliha explained the background of cooperation with Abangah in recent years and mentioned DANAB project as a successful experience in this regard. He added that interaction and sharing capacities activities needs precise notes which should be carefully considered.

At the end of this part of the meeting, it was determined that the proposed frame should be discussed more and completed during a meeting at WRM Co. in next weeks and then the final plan present at the committee again.
