After several months attempts, experts, managers and selected entrepreneurs gathered at 1st December in “Women Entrepreneurship in Islamic Countries” conference to discuss about challenges and solutions for women empowerment by focusing on women entrepreneurship.
This conference was held by Islamic chamber Research and Information Center (ICRIC) and with support of Iran’s Vice President for women and family affairs and by planning of Abangah group. In opening ceremony, Mr Fakheri (General secretary of ICRIC), Mr Shafei (President of Iran commercial chamber), Mrs Molaverdi (Vice-President for Women and Family Affairs) and Mr. Gary Lewis, UN Resident Coordinator in I.R. of Iran, presented their ideas and plans about women entrepreneurship. The conference continued in 3 panels by presents of experts and economic and social entrepreneurs. In second panel, international conference’s guests from Malaysia, Turkey, Norway and Austria shared their countries ideas.
We have participated in managing and planning the conference according to Abangah’s mission ((Capacity Building for Sustainable Development)) and the sub goal of ((Women Empowering)).
