Several provinces in Iran during recent year (2019) were experienced floods which caused serious damages and some human casualties. So during 2019-2020 academic year a coherent plan will follow to promote flood preparedness among K12 students. For this reason in terms of theoretical aspects, the best practices from all over the world  were gathered (especially from USA-FEMA and Canada) and based on them a national guidebook has been written. This guide which will be implemented in high schools at the end of 2020 February focuses on pre and post action plan in the case of flood cases. In this regard in case on flood when the students are in schools or on the way, the specific alarm will announce the flood danger.

Abangah group in collaboration with Energy Ministry-Water Resources Management Co. and Education Ministry of Iran has prepared the guidebook and its national plan in the second half of 2019.
