Capacity building and awareness rising on the benefits and necessities of environmental management as a base for sustainable development were aims which were followed during several workshops for located industries in Kavian Industrial town in 2018 autumn.

The workshops were held by Abangah group in collaboration with Kavian Industrial town Co. under supervision of Khorasan Razavi environment department in below topics:

• HSE and Environmental Conservation
• Environmental Management Systems ISO14001
• Prevention and Management of Emergencies (with a focus on preventing environmental damages)
• Principles and Requirements of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSE)
• Management of Water and Energy Consumption in Industry (in line with adaptation to water deficit).

The workshop participants were granted a valid certificate.
