Iran President (Dr. Rouhani) in his massage to the ceremony of Iranian National Water Day (3 March), referring to the priority and importance of groundwater rebalancing, expressed the necessity of public participation and all of the organizations’ cooperation for approaching this goal and announced government’s readiness to support all the capacities in this regard. He also expressed his hope for developing a public dialogue for water challenges.
This special attention to social capital and public participation, could be an appropriate context to accelerate the synergies between government, people and elites to approach the objectives of restoration and rebalancing groundwater plan.
