On January 28, the closing ceremony of capacity building project in Hablehroud watershed was held on Garmsar, Iran. The international, national and local managers and also the consultant of the project and journalists gathered in this ceremony which held at the end of first phase of international project of raising awareness and partnership of students for sustainable management in Hablehroud watershed.

After presenting the report of project by managers and consultant representative, Dr Murali the Deputy Resident Representative of UNDP in Iran, said that the project developed by high partnership of local communities in Hablehroud watershed and can be a good sample for other projects especially Lake Urmia. He expressed satisfaction with the participation of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) on the project and said that environmental protection requires public participation. He expressed that public partnership is the most important factor in the successful implementation of the project of sustainable management of water and soil resources in Hablehroud watershed.

Deputy Resident Representative of UNDP in Iran appreciate the intercommunity of executive agencies such as Education, Environment, Forests and Range and Watershed management organization and also the local managers.

In this program, which was attended by Mr. Jalali, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and head of Forest, Range and Watershed management organization, deputy governor of Semnan province and Garmsar managers and Also Mr. Samiee, the CEO of Abanagh and Mr. Behnam, the assistant director and Hablehroud project manager, The number of students and project colleagues was celebrated.
